The monthly Featured Artists Reception at the Artist In Residence Gallery will be on Thursday, June 7, 2018 from 4:30 to 7:00. The gallery is located at 10 Main Street in downtown St. Albans. This month's featured artists are Donna Blatchly, Terry Buehner and Natalie LaRocque.
Donna Blatchly makes one-of-a-kind knit and felted hand bags and has expanded her techniques to include such items as bowls and bangle bracelets. In addition to fiber arts, Donna creates unique imagery using pebbles and other found objects.
Terry Buehner has created jewelry for 20 years. Each piece is one-of-a-kind and is based on a unique story. Terry's media include polymer clay, wire, wet- and needle-felting, driftwood, stones, and repurposed items such as fabric, bicycle parts, and vintage beads.
Natalie LaRocque has immersed herself in the beauty of nature. As an artist she feels compelled to capture the images she sees and share them through her paintings and prints. Natalie's paintings are quite large, enabling the viewer to experience the same sense of inspiration and gratitude that generated her artistic expression.
