Join us at 6:30pm on Tuesday, June 5th at the Johnson Public Library for Board Game Night.
Did you know that we're in the middle of a board game renaissance? Fun and interesting board games (both cooperative and competitive) are being released all the time, and you can come and try some of them out, or bring an old favorite of your own to play. Here are a handful of easy-to-learn games that will be on-hand:
*** Ticket to Ride *** The race is on to connect as many European cities with your railroad by collecting cards and plotting routes before your competitors lay claim.
*** Dominion *** A deck-building card game in which you compete over resources to build the largest kingdom of your neighbors. Deceptively simple with deep strategies.
*** Give Me the Brain! *** It's closing time at Friedey's, the fast food restaurant of the damned. You and your fellow zombie employees are all trying to finish up your jobs so you can go home. While you all have two (or more) hands, there's only one brain to go around....
*** Pandemic *** Four separate diseases have all broken out at once in different parts of the world. As CDC workers, it's up to you to find the cures before it's too late! A cooperative game where everyone has special skills, you work to contain the spread of the viruses while researching the cures.
