INEQUALITY FOR ALL, the Robert Reich documentary, will be screened Sunday, Feb. 23, 2PM at the Old Labor Hall, 46 Granite St. in Barre. Bob Reich, served in the Carter and Ford Administrations and was Secretary of Labor in the Clinton Administration, (in addition to authoring 14 best seller books) and is currently the Chancellor's Professor of Public Policy at UC Berkeley.
The Social Action/Social Justice Committee of the Universalist Unitarian (First Church of Barre) and the Barre Old Labor Hall Historical organization will be providing its members, students and the community at large with the opportunity to view and discuss this award-winning film.The film will be followed by a panel discussion with audience participation and light refreshments. This documentary engages its audience by presenting a passionate argument on behalf of our "ever shrinking middle class" and how it has impacted our nation's economy and democracy. INEQUALITY FOR ALL connects the dots, educates and encourages its viewers to take action. "It takes a village, folks" and Barre and surrounding communities have got what it takes to make positive changes ! No charge for admission. Donations appreciated. All are welcome.
