The Colchester Middle School will hold its Spring Choral Concert on Wednesday, June 6 at 7pm in the Colchester Performing Arts Center at CHS. The theme is "World Music," featuring each of the four CMS choirs singing pieces from around the globe. The concert will include performances of student-composed pieces by Aiyana Baldasty and Jennifer Martel. Both students composed choral pieces as part of Music-COMP, an online program that provides professional mentoring support to student composers.

Friends of Colchester Music (FCM) will be selling DVDs and flowers at the CMS event. DVDs are $5 each and must be ordered and paid for at the event.

Money from the sale of flowers and DVDs raise much-needed funds for CSD music students throughout the district. FCM helps support the CSD music programs with donations of instruments and concert attire, financial aid and class trips, festival fees, and scholarships.
