Part of my inspiration to run for state representative came from hosting community dinners and dialogue events over the past several years here in St. Albans.
None of these would have been possible without Front Porch Forum (which got the word out about these gatherings- a dialogue group focused on identity and non-violence, a post-election screening of "Michael Moore in Trumpland", the Thank You Walk for our federal delegation, and Better Angels' One America Bus Tour).
So it is only fitting that this is how we will kick off the campaign: meeting and listening to neighbors while breaking bread together, and once again reaching out to my Front Porch Forum community.
