VAE announces the opening reception for the Village Portrait Project Thursday, June 7th at 6:30 pm at Powers Market, North Bennington. VAE concludes its second installment of this Village project in conjunction with its partnership at the Village School of North Bennington (VSNB) and its 5th grade class. Students choose a person from the Village and created a 3-D assemblage (portrait) with accompanying text.

Also on view at the exhibition will be early inspirations by other artists and a sneak preview of film clips about the VPP by videographer Michael Beach.
