Summer is just around the corner and we're getting ready to ROCK the Dorothy Alling Memorial Library with "Libraries Rock!" 2018 Summer Reading Program.

Great news--we're starting Summer Reading registration early this year! Starting on Monday, June 4 kids and teens can register for the Summer Reading Program and begin keeping track of their reading while school is still in session. (Williston/St. George residents). Sign up online at www.williston.lib.vt.us or at the library. Kids and teens keep track of the time they spend reading or listening to books, then stop by the library to log their reading time. For every 30 minutes of reading/listening, they will receive a stamp in their log and a ticket for our summer raffles. For every 10 stamps, they may pick out a book to take home.

There are lots of fun FREE activities for kids, teens and adults this summer including a Bike Parade with special guest CHAMP, DJ Yoga, Learn to Play the Ukulele, Very Merry Theatre, Dinoman, an offsite geology hike and an outdoor interactive movie.
