June 22: Dance Party with the Wyld Nightz Band

On Friday, June 22, The Wyld Nightz Band returns for Wardsboro Curtain Call's annual dance party.

The Dance Party will be held in the Wardsboro Town Hall Café, Main Street, Wardsboro. Pot Luck Supper before the show, so doors will open at 6:00 pm, music begins at 7 pm. Bring your favorite dish to share – and your dancing shoes. BYOB. Admission is $15 at the door.

This year, the music series also serves as a fundraising vehicle benefitting Wardsboro Fire and Rescue. The first show netted $274 for the cause. At the dance party, a donation "Fireman's Boot" will be available for all those who wish to make a contribution to Wardsboro Fire and Rescue.

The Wyld Nightz Band was formed over ten years ago in Brattleboro. Founding members Michael McKinney (guitar, trumpet, vocals) and Jeff Brewer (guitar, vocals) have worked to emphasize dance music with exciting ensemble playing. Fred "Freighttrain" Epstein (drums) and Matt Martyn (bass guitar) anchor the rhythm section, while keyboard duties and vocals are covered by Tony Speranza. Anthony Speranza Jr. appears regularly on Alto & Tenor saxophones.
