This weekend: Join Winooski Valley Park District's environmental educator and bird expert, Juli, on the final walk of our Observing Spring through Birds series! Meet at the entrance to Delta Park, 668 Windemere Way, Colchester VT. Bird monitoring walks are important for citizen science and Juli will upload the species list to eBird.org, last time we saw 29 species, and on a recent walk Juli saw 41 species, including the Green Heron, Great Blue Heron, and Black-crowned Night Heron. We hope to see even more this Saturday! All levels of experience welcome and this event is FREE. Bird monitoring walks will continue monthly at Delta Park so stay tuned!
