Join us at the Lincoln School this Saturday from 1-4pm as we apply the very first tiles to the 30-foot cement wall at the school entrance. Tile mosaic expert Kate Hartley (you can Google her impressive work at "North Country Mosaic Project") and LCS art teacher Nancy McClaran will be applying community-made mosaic art pieces to the cement wall. Everyone is invited to participate in this town-wide project, which will show the beauty of Lincoln's natural world. We'll be adding mosaic river waves made by the Lincoln preschool, birch trees made by community members at the town-clerk's office, and stars for our night sky made by 3rd and 4th graders during art class and by adults during a workshop.

Come help add tiles to the wall or just stop by to see the process. The mosaic is going to be amazing, and you can be part of it. Nancy will be hosting workshops throughout the summer for Lincoln folks to create more beautiful pieces of the mosaic. The next workshop will be announced soon. Meanwhile, hope to see you Saturday!
