NOW IN ITS 15TH YEAR, The Ramble, a festival celebrating the creativity & community of Burlington's Old North End, will take place on Saturday, July 28, 2018!
WHEN Old North End community members and businesses join forces to transform the O.N.E. neighborhood into a "pop-up" confluence of creative activities, reflective of its unequivocally creative culture WHERE the most racially and economically diverse population of Vermont densely resides with the highest concentration of Burlington's working artists.
Streets are closed, stages assembled, installations placed in spaces from parks to parking lots, instruments tuned, art hung in cafés, galleries, porches and living rooms, and Ramble restaurant specials prepped. All in anticipation of a full day of phenomenal live music, visual art exhibitions, hands-on art-making, yard sales, theatrical performances, craft sales, block parties, talent shows, comedy lineups, dance classes, and a host of other creative endeavors— suitable for all ages and open to the public to RAMBLE about while discovering the inclusive ethos: "ALL for O.N.E., and O.N.E. for ALL," by following The Ramble map, guiding ALL to participate in this magnificent union of art, life, commerce, and DIY summer revelry in the O.N.E.!
On Saturday, July 28th, oil up your bike chain! Lather on your sunscreen! Fill your water bottle to the brim! It's not a gamble, you'll have fun at THE RAMBLE!
