Burlington's Weston A. Price Foundation hosts:
The Shared Wisdom of Dr. Weston A. Price and Doctors of Chinese Medicine
Presentation by Brooke Moen, MS, L.Ac.
Date: Sunday, February 16, 2014
Time: 3:00-5:00 pm
Location: Burlington’s Fletcher Free Library, Pickering Room

Like all good doctors throughout history, Weston Price was a true anthropologist and scientific observer. It turns out the Chinese used these methods of inquiry as well, for thousands of years. As a result, Traditional Chinese Medicine includes dietary notions that are very similar to WAPF principles. As we explore these similarities, and understand the nutrient-dense diet from an energetic perspective, we re-affirm the wisdom of nature, and food itself. Join me in discussing the properties of fats, bone broth and fermented food, among other things. We will explore the Traditional Chinese Medicine view and how this aligns with the philosophy of Weston Price. By broadening your knowledge I hope to deepen your connection to food, and your experience of eating and cooking.

The Year of the Wood Horse; what's in store for 2014? Potluck and FREE talk!
Saturday, February 22, 5:00-8:00pm
The Rainbow Institute, 19 Church #8 in Burlington

Join Chinese Medicine expert Brooke Moen and Professional Intuitive Cynthia Warwick-Seiler for an evening of reflection. Brooke will share insights on the year to come based on Chinese Cosmology (astrology and medicine) and Cynthia will add her perspective. Together they will weave their knowledge and wisdom, providing a context in which you can more deeply understand your own experience. Bring curiosity, good food, and plan to enjoy an evening with your healing community!
