On June 19 at 7 p.m. the Rail Platform Steering Committee will have its first public meeting in the large conference room at the Middlebury Town Offices on Main Street. This will be the first in a series of public meetings and will be the initial opportunity for all who are interested in engaging in this project to offer thoughts, ideas and to ask questions. Representatives from the consulting firm VHB, who will be assisting with the project, will be facilitating the meeting.

The idea that Middlebury may once again have passenger train service is exciting and the Steering Committee is hopeful that all interested Addison County residents will participate.
