Herbal Intensive
Ever wonder how to formulate your own herbal preparation or herbal first aid kit? Know what plants to use in the woods for a bee sting or rashes? And how do you make tinctures and salves anyway?
Let's de-code the world of herbal medicine and together, weaving botanical basics with hands on learning. In the morning, we'll set sail and discuss how herbal actions affect the body and seek to balance our body and in the afternoon we'll prepare a salve and a tincture to take home. 10-4:30pm with an hour for lunch. Bring your own bag lunch, or something to share for a potluck.

PermaCulture Primer
Join Ecological Designer Keri Evjy and learn about an integrated design science building prosperous and resilient gardens, communities, relationships, and businesses.
Using common sense Permaculture principals, we will playfully develop our eyes and ears as designers, avoid mistakes and save time, energy, and money adopting nature’s best practices. This fun day workshop is an introduction to the principles and ethics of permaculture and will give you tools and know-how to garden within natural cycles. We'll discuss superstar plants for your yard to create edible, medicinal and functional habitats for people and planet!
10-4:30pm with an hour for lunch. Bring your own bag lunch, or something to share for a potluck.
