The Vermont Aviation Expo is being hosted at Burlington International Airport on Saturday, June 9th from 12:30 to 4:00pm. This free event is designed to expose Students & mid-career employees to a variety of aviation career opportunities. The Expo features a number of technical exhibits, cool displays (F16, Jet car, aerobatic aircraft...) as well as a host of "mini-classes". As time & weather permit, students will also have the opportunity try one of VFA's flight simulators or take an actual ride in a real aircraft, courtesy of EAA Chapter 613 (also free). Refreshments and Raffle tickets will be available. Pilots, mechanics, technicians, suppliers and aviation enthusiasts are also all welcome.

Pilots planning to "fly-in" to display their aircraft must arrive no later then 11:45am. The Valley Ramp, extending off the south end of Taxiway K, will be closed to traffic throughout this event. Young Eagle Flights will be the only aircraft directed by ATC to the Valley Ramp between 11:45 am to 4pm. Overflow & all aircraft arriving during this event may park at Heritage Aviation & walk to the event located at Vermont Flight Academy.
