Please join the Hardwick American Legion Family on Monday May 28th for our annual Memorial Day marching parade and services to honor those that made the ultimate sacrifice while serving to protect our freedom.
The event includes a march with our color guard starting at Hardwick Elementary at 9am to the Memorial Park for a service to honor the fallen presented by Hardwick American Legion Post #7 Commander George Gattone. This will be followed by graveside services at four area cemeteries were all are welcome to attend.
The ceremonies of this day embrace the true reason Memorial Day was declared a national holiday as a day of remembrance. Although many enjoy the day to gather with family for barbecues & parties in celebration or to take trips to start their summer fun, Memorial Day is a day of reflection and to remember our fallen hero's who have made these family events possible.
Please take an hour out of your day to join us at 9:00am and either march with us or watch as we pay tribute to these men & women who cannot be with their family & friends on Memorial day for barbecues, parties, parades and celebrations because the made the ultimate paid the ultimate price so you can!
The Hardwick American Legion will be open at 8:00am with coffee and donuts for anyone who plans to join us to march. We encourage all members of the public to join us regardless of American Legion membership or military service.
