The Friends of Lakeview Cemetery invite you to join Donald Jackson as he leads a walking tour featuring Civil War veterans buried at Lakeview Cemetery (455 North Avenue, Burlington). Learn some about the lives of local Generals awarded the Medal of Honor, their bravery, and soldiers who chose to settle in Vermont after the war. Enjoy a stroll in Burlington's beautiful and only 19th century Park and Walking Cemetery. Rain or Shine. Free (donations welcome).
