Can't wait for the bandstand series to start? Then join Montpelier High School Club Action at the Livelihood Music Festival on Saturday, June 9, 2018 from 5:30-9:30 at MHS. Dave Keller (soloist), A2VT, and Televici will be performing in addition to other talented Vermont singers and musicians. If you purchase your tickets in advance, you will receive a free slice of wood-fired pizza at the festival. There will be activities available for people of all ages, including games and face painting! Tickets can be purchased by visiting our facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/events/442712736167938/.
The festival is being organized to raise funds and awareness for the Vermont Ibutwa Initiative and Spectrum Youth & Family Services. The Ibutwa Initiative provides healthcare, education, and work assistance to survivors of sexual and gender-based violence and their children in the eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo. Spectrum Youth Services provides health care, training, counseling, and housing to homeless and runaway youth in the state of Vermont.
