We Need to Hear Your Opinions!

Selectboard members Christy Witters and Roger Brown want you to come to a community listening session about policing in Richmond, on Tuesday, May 29th at 7:00 PM in the Town Center Meeting Room. The Richmond Selectboard is conducting outreach to understand policing in Richmond today, and hear the community's comments, concerns and priorities for how we provide policing in the future. As you know, Chief Buck is retiring next month, and we'll be having an interim chief of police manage the department while we discuss these very important issues. The community needs to come together and ask the difficult questions and find the answers together, and Roger and Christy want to kick off that process next week. We look forward to seeing you then, and if you have any questions, please call Geoffrey Urbanik, Town Manager, at 434-5170.
