On Tuesday, February 11th at 12:30PM, the Mad River Valley Senior Center at Evergreen Place will host a forum on transportation for seniors. Members of Green Mountain Transit Authority (GMTA) and the Central Vermont Council on Aging will be present to hear about local needs and priorities. If you or a family member or client would benefit from public transportation to medical appointments, etc., this will be a good opportunity to learn about current resources. Opportunities for mileage reimbursement for providing transportation to seniors in a private vehicle will also be described.
