Shelburne Vineyard has teamed up with Lake Champlain Chocolates and Middlebury Chocolates for this years Wine and Chocolate Weekend! Lake Champlain Chocolates will be at the vineyard giving out samples on Saturday February 8th and Middlebury Chocolates will be handing out samples on Sunday February 9th. The event will run from 11:00 am until 5:00 pm each day. Each chocolate will have a suggested wine pairing. Wine tastings are $5-$7. This years pairings are:

Louise Swenson paired with a Milk Chocolate Hazlenut Truffle

Riesling paired with a Dark Chocolate Raspberry Truffle

Cabernet Franc paired with a 70% Dark Peruvian Square

Vidal Blanc Late Harvest paired with a Milk Chocolate Sea Salt Caramel

Middlebury Chocolates:

Lakeview White paired with a Vanilla Bean Chocolate Bar

Cabernet Franc paired with an Anise and Peppercorn Truffle

Marquette paired with 75% Dominican Chocolate

Rhapsody Ice Wine paired with a spicy Chupacabra Chocolate
