This year the Burlington Master Naturlist Program is hosting art workshops to celebrate Burlington's Urban Wilds and connect residents to Burlington's natural spaces through art.

We invite you to join your friends and neighbors by taking time out to read, write and reflect on our natural landscape, and allow it to inspire you to create your own imaginative poems. We'll begin by reading a selection of poems by well-known poets. Then, armed with suggestions from Angela, participants will disperse to look, listen and record their observations and reflections. After a period of time alone, we will come back together to talk about how we might turn our first impressions into finished poems we might want to share.

Please bring your own writing materials. Adults and teens only, please.

This workshop series is offered free of charge, but we are accepting donations to help support the continuation of the Burlington Master Naturalist Program. To make a donation, visit the online donation page of the Parks Foundation of Burlington and indicate that the contribution is for the Burlington Master Naturalist Program in the comments fields.
