This Saturday, February 8, at 7:00, the “Great Directors/Great Films” series will continue with Preston Sturges’ 1942 comedy “The Lady Eve” at the Maple Corner Community Center. Seductive gold-digger Barbara Stanwyck and her conniving father (Charles Coburn) set out to fleece wealthy but naïve Henry Fonda, the socially inept heir to a brewery fortune. Films will be shown every second and fourth Saturday of the month through March. Rick Winston will introduce the film and lead a discussion afterwards.
