Does your young teen love to play games? Would you like to support your library? Now you can do both at once: Sign your middle schooler up to play board games at this summer camp of the Pierson Library Family Game Club!

Dates: Monday, June 25th to Friday, June 29th; 9 am to 5 pm
Location: Shelburne Community School, 345 Harbor Road
Instructor: Oliver Dienz, host of the Pierson Library Family Game Club
Ages: 10 to 14 years of age, beginners to advanced players
Cost: None! In lieu of a fee we would appreciate a donation to the new library building fund. We suggest $150 for the full camp but will be grateful for any amount given.

Modern board games are fun, engaging, offer a variety of choices, and reward thoughtful play. We will teach games which showcase the different mechanisms game designers use today to give unique experiences each time. Your child will acquire skills such as to strategize, budget, negotiate, evaluate chances, and all that in a playful, social and fun way. Weather permitting, some time will be spent with outdoor games. Max 15 campers, please register until June 15. Call 985-5124 or respond to this post for more details.
