Hi, Neighbors!

Thursday, 5/17 is Vermont Gives Day, a 24-hour online fundraising event to benefit Vermont's nonprofit sector. The Open Door Clinic, a free health clinic for the uninsured and under-insured of Addison County and adjacent areas, set the ambitious goal of raising $37,500 through online donations. With $60, we can provide 2 hours of dental care. With $157, we can buy 10 flu vaccines. Any amount is much appreciated!

This is truly a worthy organization. I've been a volunteer interpreter for the farm workers for several years, accompanying them to medical and dental appointments, so I've seen first-hand the amazing job they do.
