A FREE training on how to identify emerald ash borer will be held on May 31st from 9:30am- 12pm at the Berlin UVM Extension office.
Emerald ash borer was detected for the first time in Vermont earlier this year. Early detection of invasive pests mitigates the economic and ecological impact to forests and prevents pest populations from becoming established in the state. Learn what you can do to slow the spread!
We are training concerned citizens to:
• learn about the current status of emerald ash borer in Vermont
• identify signs and symptoms
• prepare their communities for a response
YOU can help protect Vermont's forests!
