Come for the free iced coffee, stay for the free bike lock and knowledge! Join Local Motion, Vermont Coffee Company, and Frog Hollow Bikes for one or two free workshops to help you get around town by bicycle more safely and confidently.

The first workshop (about 40 minutes) starting at 10am will be inside Vermont Coffee Company's CAFÉ where you'll learn the ins and outs of safe bike commuting and how to keep your bike from being stolen. Participants will receive a voucher for a free high-quality u-lock that can be redeemed at Frog Hollow Bikes! This workshop is limited to 30 people. The second workshop (about 1.5 hours) starting at 11am will be outside on the streets! You will need to bring your (functional!) bike and helmet for this one. You will join one of Local Motion's expert bike commuters for an easy spin around Middlebury to learn strategies on how to safely interact with drivers at intersections, during turns, and more. You'll pick up invaluable tips for safe and confident bike commuting that can really only be learned by riding with a seasoned bike commuter. The ride will include several stops for discussions and questions, and the pace will be kept easy to make sure no one is left out. Meet at Vermont Coffee Company's CAFÉ before 11am. Limited to 10.
