The annual Plant Sale fundraiser for the Craftsbury Public Library will take place on Saturday, May 19 from 9AM-1PM. The sale will be held in the basement of the Church on the Common. There will be an excellent selection of perennial plants, donated by neighbors and reliably hardy in this area. There are also usually some great shrubs and small trees such as lilacs, forsythia, and hydrangea. A friend of the library is tenderly caring for 150 tomato plants for the sale, including heirloom, cherry, slicers, and paste tomatoes. Librarian Susan O'Connell will be on hand to offer advice on the best plants for your setting.
There will be a concurrent Book Sale in the library with fiction, non-fiction and children's books for sale. There are some great new novels as well as old classics, plus some excellent new books on topics from travel to gardening to building.
Please contact the library at 586-9683 or
