A Restorative Circle (the version practiced by Dominic Barter and friends) is a community centered process for exploring and transforming conflict. Open source, simple, flexible by nature, and infinitely complex- the process helps us understand what conflict is trying to teach us. Through the voluntary practice, participants discover how to listen and understand each other to gain mutual understanding, and appropriate action steps. They are supported by the focus on reflective listening, and the guiding questions asked by the Host. *Our host, Gray, first encountered Restorative Circles in bellows falls in 2014, studied with Dominic and friends shortly thereafter, and has been a student (and teacher) of the process ever since.*"
