Farmers' Market Season Opener Tomorrow!

The forecast is for a terrific opening day for the Northfield Farmers' Market with these fine vendors on the Common from 3-6 p.m.:

- Burelli Farm — certified organic and USDA inspected beef, pork and lamb, as well as certified organic whole young chickens
- Cheryl Ann's Homemade — home-baked breads, rolls and pies, plus perennial flowers, garden plants and crafts
- NEW! Earth Speaks — wire-wrapped and handmade jewelry using crystals, gens stones and beads
- Farmor Farm — free-style chicken and pork, eggs, vegetables and herbs, seedlings, biscuits and baguettes, and rustically practical crafts
- Green Mountain Girls Farm featuring Field Stone Farm — organic vegetables, pasture-raised meats, and prepared farm-fresh foods such as pickles, pestos, soups and more
- Kadric Catering — take-home Greek cuisine from cabbage rolls to baklava
- La Panciata Bakery — locally baked artisan breads, cookies, croutons and more
- Lightfoot Farm — Maple-sweetened jams, herbs and teas, and dried flower wreaths — most of which are fully farm-grown
- SunCommon — solar energy options for homes and businesses in Vermont communities
- The Woods Lodge — a rotating menu of hot foods including burritos, personal pizzas, local burgers, BBQ pulled pork sandwiches and other dishes

June 19 — Night on the Crescent: the market moves down the street to Crescent Park with for a Norwich University event that is open to the public
July is National Grilling Month & National Picnic Month — we'll be promoting agricultural products for grilling and picnicking
July 17 — Live music at the market with Dale Cavanaugh
