We hope you'll consider joining us Wednesday evening, May 16th at 7:00 at the Richmond Free Library to hear our local Stanley Sloan as he explores the global factors that now threaten Western democracy and how these challenges might be overcome. Professor Sloan is a Visiting Scholar of Political Science at Middlebury College who grew up in Montpelier and now lives in Richmond. His long career includes work with the CIA and the Congressional Research Office, as well as college teaching. He is the author of several books, including Transatlantic Traumas. The talk, sponsored by the Community Senior Center, is free, and everyone is welcome. We hope to see you there!
