The season finale of the family-friendly Cabot square and contra dance is Saturday, May 12, 7:30 pm, at the Willey Building in downtown Cabot village. Come and celebrate the long-awaited arrival of spring! Karen Mueller-Harder will call for most of the evening and Luc Laroche all the way from France will call sets of Quebecois social dances. Karen is a local Cabot caller who's dedicated to creating a welcoming and fun time for everyone, and Luc is a long time caller originally from Quebec.
Live music will be provided by David Carpenter, Franklin Heyburn, Tom MacKenzie, Rick Winston and others. No experience or partner necessary: all ages and abilities are welcome, and there will be an extra newcomers' session at 7:15 if you'd like to learn and practice a bit before the dance begins.
