Revitalizing Waterbury invites everyone to the Grand Reopening of the Community Room at the Waterbury Train Station!
A celebration will be held, in conjunction with National Train Day, on Saturday, May 12, 2018 from 9:30 – 10:30 am. A short presentation will be made at 9:50 timed to end with the arrival of the Amtrak train at 10:10. In addition, there will be free coffee and cake!

RW partnered with the Waterbury Historical Society to update and refresh the look of the Community Room, which was restored in 2006. The room, envisioned by Jack Carter of WHS, includes historical items and photographs associated with Waterbury's train history. We are particularly excited about the display of the murals that were saved from the former Arvad's restaurant and painted by local artist Sarah-Lee Terrat. The Community Room includes tourist information and maps and is a popular destination for families who wish to view the working model train.

Come and join the celebration!
