The Barre Partnership is teaming up with the Central Vermont Solid Waste Management District to train Waste Warriors for this year's Barre Heritage Festival! There will be a training on July 14 from 3pm to 4:30pm to train our Waste Warriors for this year's festival.

Learn how to reduce waste at events, and educate others about recycling and composting right. Waste Warriors: • Help event attendees sort discarded materials correctly• Educate event-goers about recycling and composting• Reduce contamination of compost and recycling at events • Foster behavior changes through positive, friendly interactions. Waste Warrior volunteers sometimes get perks such as free event entry.
