MoCo Spring Celebration Weekend

The Morrisville Food Co-op (MoCo!) will be hosting a weekend of discounts, sales, demos and tastings to celebrate Spring and the growth of your community food market. If you haven't been in to the co-op recently, now is an excellent time to stop in and see what's new.

Starting with a Beer, Beef and Salsa Tasting on Friday evening, May 11 from 4:30-6:30pm we will be sampling out grilled Black River Meats on Mansfield Breadworks rolls and pretzel buns as well as salsa from Tom Knows Salsa and delicious beers from Baker Distributors. There will also be samples of smoked salmon from Honeywilya Fish.

Saturday between 10am and 4pm demos will include: Kimball Brook, Dee's Vegan Treats, Vermont Switchel, Vermont Homestead Gourmet and Nordic Naturals. We will be offering donuts from North Country Cakes while they last on Saturday morning.

Sunday there will be a Community Talk About Reducing Waste from 11am-12 noon and a Goat Meat Tasting from Vermont Chevon from 1-3pm. Sale prices will continue until close on Sunday evening at 6pm.

Bayley Hazen cheese from Jasper Hill will be on sale a dollar off per pound and there will be discounts on wines, meats, and all kinds of grocery items. A fine selection of gourmet treats, body products and chocolates make perfect gifts for Mother's Day.

Susanna's Catering has created new spring soup flavors which will be offered in the Cafe.
