Volunteers Wanted! Learn how to clean and restore gravestones.

The Calais Cemetery Commission encourages your attendance: Saturday, May 19th at 9am.

Volunteer Barb Baird will be leading a free workshop on how to clean gravestones, (remove lichen and moss) using gentle techniques and non-toxic supplies.

"Together we can uncover the beauty in cemeteries while preserving the stones for generations to come." Meet at the bottom of Old Fairview Cemetery, Marshfield Rd, East Calais, VT Rain or shine. All welcome (invite a friend or neighbor!). Dress for weather & bugs.

Supplies will be provided. Please leave pets at home.
