Aging in Vermont - Mount Mansfield Villages Community Information meeting

Mount Mansfield Villages will be holding a community information meeting at the Deborah Rawson Library on Wednesday, May 23rd at 6:30 pm. Our guest speaker will be Monica Caserta-Hutt, Commissioner of Vermont's Department of Disabilities, Aging and Independent Living. Ms. Hutt will be speaking on the issues of aging in Vermont and how the Village model is an option for aging in our communities.

Mount Mansfield Villages is a community-based nonprofit membership organization comprised primarily of Cambridge, Underhill and Jericho residents. Our mission is to enable our members to remain active, socially connected, and independent in their homes and communities for as long as possible, and to provide volunteer opportunities for neighbors helping neighbors.

Come and learn about how the Village works, what services we plan to offer and what the annual cost to be a member would be. Also, learn how you can become involved as a volunteer to help your neighbors live safely and happily in their homes. Light refreshments provided. If you have questions you can email mountmansfieldvillage@gmail.com.
