Fill a bag and help feed families in our community. This is the time!

NALC (National Association of Letter Carriers) is sponsoring its annual food drive this Saturday, May 12. Just bag healthy, nonperishable feed items and place by your mailbox for your letter carrier to pick up and bring to the collection point. Donations will be brought to the CERV food shelf.

Let's make this the biggest collection day ever in Northfield! CERV volunteers will weigh and sort the food items for distribution to neighbors in need in Northfield through the CERV food shelf, which is open Mondays 5:30-6:30, Wednesdays 9:00-10:00, and Saturdays 9:00-11:00 a.m. at the municipal garage building.

CERV (Northfield Community Emergency Relief Volunteers) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization providing emergency relief to folks in the Northfield area, as well as the food shelf and clothing shelf (in the basement of the municipal office building). CERV also provides summer lunches for school children and their families, the winter Angel Trees, and other programs to assist those who need help in our community.
