Working Landscape Regeneration (May 9)
Never before has permaculture design been more important in thinking about our public lands, backyards, and working landscapes . The current need to re-ruralify and redevelop the productivity of the working landscape is now coupled with the need to regenerate it. How do we rebuild topsoils and improve the function of the water and carbon cycle in our fields and forests so that we can grow more value while restoring degraded landscapes? How can our farms and infrastructure be resilient in the face of shifting climate pressures? What new opportunities do today's intersecting challenges provide?

Come hear from Ben Falk of Whole Systems Design (http://www.wholesystemsdesign.com), ecological restorationist, silvopasture land manager and homesteader. This will also include a discussion on opportunities at the Randolph Community Orchard, Inc. a registered non-profit farm which is to be located at the recovered 22 acre site at exit 4 in Randolph.

Cost: Suggested donation $5. Program will have light food fare provided by Black Krim Tavern. No one will be turned away due to cost. Supported by the New Hampshire Charitable Foundation and the Sustainable Future Fund of the Vermont Community Foundation
