Event: May 17, 18 & 19, 2018, 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM
In recognition of the 5th Anniversary of the enactment of Vermont's Act 39: Patient Choice At End of Life Law, Patient Choices Vermont is sponsoring three theatrical performances of "A Finished Heart;" a one-act play which encourages audience members to consider having meaningful discussions about end of life issues.
Author, composer, and actor Eliott Cherry is coming from Oregon to present his deeply personal story of love, life, and closure. The hour-long performance puts audience members in touch with the universal experience of dying, amid humor and loving conversations between Eliott and his partner during those final weeks of life.
Performances of "A Finished Heart" are at 7 pm followed by time for audience reflection and discussion.
