Connecting rain barrels to downspouts can reduce the amount of runoff and reduce ponding on our roads and driveways creating a great water supply for gardens and lawns. Richard Butz from the Bristol Conservation Commission will share his experience with Rain Barrels. You will even learn how to construct a rain barrel of your very own!

Anita from the Addison County Solid Waste District will lead us through the changing laws around composing. We will discuss the dos and don'ts of backyard composting and what it all means to you.
