Have you wondered what all the hype about vaping is about (CNN even called it a teen epidemic)? Join us this week (Monday night at 5:00 at Peoples Academy Library, Tuesday Night at 7:00 at Stowe Auditorium, or 5:30 at Green Mountain Technology and Career Center) for a presentation on Vaping, Juuling, and Marijuana. Local schools are seeing student use of these devices increase - learn what they contain (hint... it's not just water vapor), how to identify the devices, and how to help prevent youth use.
Marijuana will become legal for adult use on July first, which means there will be greater access for youth as well. What can parents do to hep youth avoid use? Hear what the law means and steps parents can take ensure our students are safe.
Presentor, Debby Haskins, is a licensed drug and alcohol counselor and has 30 years in treatment and prevention. Debby is passionate about preventing youth use. Her presentations are engaging, fun, and provide the audience with many opportunities to ask questions.
