Hello, neighbors!
Since the deadline for the second half of the 2013 property tax payments - 2/15 - falls on a Saturday, and since the following Monday is a USPS holiday, the town will accept as timely payments postmarked 2/18/2014 - Tuesday.
After all, you should have better things to do on Valentine's Day (2/14 - Friday) than make a trip to the Town Clerk's Office, especially when it's closed. Not that the free chocolate available all that week to Middlesex taxpayers might be an enticement....
