The 48th annual Airie Lindsay Green Up Day is coming up Saturday, May 5th. Green Bags are now available at the Town Hall, post offices in Passumpsic, Barnet, McIndoes and at the Barnet Store and West Barnet Store. Volunteers, please choose an area to work on throughout the town and bring bags to the Barnet School Saturday between 8:30 - 1:30.
Please sort recyclable/redeemable bottles and cans in separate bags for ease of separation at drop off, if possible.
From 12:30 - 1:30 We will have a pizza lunch (made by Barnet students and volunteers in the school's outdoor oven) with drinks, salads, etc...
We can use some volunteers at the school during the day to help with sorting through bottles and cans and washing them, help with pizza making and picnic setup. Dessert and drink
donations are always welcome. We could also use 1-2 canopy tents to provide a little shelter from the elements for our volunteers for the day.
Local musicians are invited to bring instruments and add music to the festive lunch 🎶
