This Saturday, May 5, the Cathedral is hosting a writing workshop with author and journalist John DeDakis.
John will conduct this day-long workshop, From Novice to Novelist - a step-by-step guide that deconstructs and demystifies the novel-writing process. You'll learn how to stay organized, how to write in the voice of the opposite sex, how to rewrite, how to get an agent, and how to face your writing/marketing fears. By the end of the workshop, you will be equipped with the skills to start and perfect your story. The session on rewriting will include time for a writing lab.
It's a great opportunity to connect with other writers and learn from an accomplished novelist and writing coach. Whether you're a beginning writer or an online storyteller, this workshop will help you get to where you need to be. Writers of all skill levels are encouraged to attend.
Saturday, May 5, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Cathedral Church of St. Paul,
2 Cherry St., Burlington, VT . Please call the church on Thursday or Friday from 8:30 - Noon and ask for Jennifer.
