A reminder that Green Up Day is Saturday, May 5, 7:30 AM – 2PM. Pick up bags at Colchester Police Department (CPD) from 8 AM to 1 PM. Areas will be assigned at this time. Trash should be place in bags, tied shut, and placed on roadside for pick up. Tires and metal should be placed alongside bags. Needles and/or other hazardous waste should not be handled; please report these to CPD. A hot dog barbecue sponsored by the Colchester/Milton Rotary, Lions Club, and Colchester Conservation Commission, will be offered in front of CPD from noon to 1 PM.
