"High Mountains and Flowing Water"

As part of Art Walk, Alejandro Angio will be showing a collection of nature inspired Chinese and Japanese painting styles. "Flowers and Birds" and "Southern Song Dynasty Landscapes" are revived and recreated under a modern eye at Montpelier Community Acupuncture Clinic. The show, "High Mountains and Flowing Water", is an honoring of the roots of our medicine and the incredible art as well as healing art that has emerged from East Asia.

Born in Buenos Aires, Angio studied Japanese wood block printing with Tajuki Hamanaka, Chinese brush painting with Laoshi Henry Li, and Sumi-e with Julietta Jitterman, and is currently studying Lingnan School style of Chinese painting with Laoshi Siu Mui Ngan in Canada.
Come see his work hanging in Montpelier Community Acupuncture Clinic, 79 Main St Suite 8
