The second public hearing for the Town Charter is Monday, February 3rd, 7pm, at the Brick Meeting House. Major elements included in the proposed Charter include changing some elected positions to appointed positions, and creating a voter recall provision for all elected provisions. The Selectboard feels these are necessary changes that will address accountability and improve the Town's ability to fill important positions. This is the last opportunity to provide the Selectboard with your questions and comments before the proposed Charter is finalized and presented to voters in March.
