Saturday, February 8
10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Wind your way across the snowy landscape during this introduction to animal tracks, tree buds and bark, and the overwintering strategies of our furry and feathered friends. A workshop for aspiring naturalists who want to explore the wonders of winter and learn to read the signs in the snow.
We will meet at the Wheeler House (former National Gardening Association building) on Dorset Street, then wander through the forests, fields, and streams of Wheeler Nature Park to unravel some of its mysteries. We'll then head back indoors to discuss our discoveries over hot cocoa.
Led by naturalists Sophie Mazowita and Laura Yayac.
$30 for S. Burlington residents, $36 for non-resisdents
