Grow Your Own will host a basic science soil workshop on May 5 from 11:30-1:30 led by Peggy Newfield and Patti LeBlanc . This session will be a fun, hands on event as we look at the basic science behind soil, without which we would never be able to grow. We will talk about soil testing and have a go at it and talk about soil health. The workshop will be followed by a shared meal. It will be held at Atkins Field in Hardwick and is free. Spaces are limited however so please reserve your spot by May 3.
